Admission Process

Applicants will be notified of their admission status via email from the Admissions Office of the University of Fredericton within 10 business days of their completed application.

Executive MBA and MBA Application Process:

Applicants can mail or fax their application form, resume and cover letter; however the reference form and official transcripts must be mailed to the Admissions office. Please fill out the application form or download an Application in PDF format. Or download a reference request form (PDF) for submission.

Once applicants have submitted their application, they must also submit the following documents:
  • Email your current resume detailing experience, academic and professional education, extra curricula activities, etc. to the Admissions Office.
  • Request two reference letters (we have created a reference request form which you may give to your referee in replacement of a written letter). The reference forms may be sent via mail or fax. The referee should be a person who is able to evaluate your academic or business qualifications. This can be a past professor, a current supervisor or manager, etc.
  • Official Transcript - the transcript must be mailed directly from the university to the University of Fredericton and can not be a 'student' copy. Use the Transcript Request form for ease in ordering transcripts. Transcripts can take between two to four weeks to reach the University so it is important to order these right away. Applicants who have studied outside of Canada and the US and have official copies of their transcripts may send notarized copies to the University of Fredericton by mail. These copies must be authorized by an Official Notary.
  • TOEFL score if your mother tongue is not English - sent directly from the testing centre
  • The GMAT is a provisional requirement for admission into the University of Fredericton. Applicants who fulfill all other university entrance requirements without marginal conditions are not required to undertake the GMAT. Individuals will be notified if taking the GMAT will be necessary before program admission is allowed. Following the completion of the application process, the file will be reviewed by the Admissions Committee and a response will be sent to the applicant by email.
